feb#12: say something

have you ever created stories in your head? created your own narrative as to why you think something happened whether it was true or not? or perhaps think that you have the answer to a question on behalf of the person who asked the question? if it sounds confusing, yes, it is. this was the gist of a couple of conversations that took place today.

what it boiled down to is the need for clear communication. in the midst of the day-to-day and getting stuff done, assumptions are often made and unknowns exist. my advice to myself and to others who may be facing uncertainty or second guessing is to simply ask the question. take the step to practice inquiry to find the answer or at the minimum to engage in dialogue. say what you mean and speak your truth.
